We have been asked by many parents if we could provide a laundry/dry cleaning solution for their students. As a result, LaurenHelpsU has partnered with a reputable, locally owned, laundry/dry cleaning service called Clothing Care (http://www.myclothingcare.com) to provide your student with first-class laundry/dry cleaning services. While your student lives on campus, LaurenHelpsU will provide pickup/drop-off services from and to campus on Tuesdays and Fridays. IF YOUR STUDENT LIVES OFF CAMPUS THEY CAN CONTACT “CLOTHING CARE” TO PICK UP AND DELIVER THEIR LAUNDRY & DRY CLEANING AT NO CHARGE. In other words, for students off campus, Clothing Care will charge you for their laundry and dry cleaning BUT you won’t need LaurenHelpsU to pick it up and deliver, and that’s ok. We are just excited to provide your students with an alternative that is cost effective, reliable, and reputable! All we ask is that when you sign up for their service you note that LaurenHelpsU has referred them.
Clothing Care has all new high-efficiency washing machines and dryers, and each student’s clothes will be the only clothing in that machine. This means no mixing customers items, no more half-washed loads, no more burned clothes in a dryer that runs too hot, nor any clothing that mysteriously disappears!
If your student is super busy, outsourcing his/her laundry is an easy way to take something off their plate, and provides assurance to you that their pricey clothes (that you probably paid for) aren’t going to be ruined!
Here’s how it works:
1. You or your student signs up using Clothing Care’s app, notes LHU (or LaurenHelpsU) in the referral drop-down, and enters their form of payment to have on the account to pay for the laundry/dry cleaning services. You will pay for the laundry/dry cleaning separately, directly to Clothing Care via their app: Clothing Care – Shoe Care (smrtapp.com)
2. You (the Parent) sign up for our delivery service on our website (laurenhelpsu.com). Once signed up, we will coordinate the pick up and delivery of your student’s laundry on Tuesdays or Fridays and will return Tuesday’s laundry on Friday, and Friday’s laundry on Tuesday. Your cost, which includes up to 4 uses (a pick up and delivery is ONE use), is $75.
***Once signed up for this service, your student is able to have LaurenHelpsU pickup and drop off their laundry/drycleaning as frequently as necessary throughout the school year. Note, we prefer to work directly with your student to “coordinate” their pick up and delivery.***
Please be advised that orders requested outside of our Tuesday/Friday times will be charged an extra $30 for solo pickup/delivery paid through www.LaurenHelpsU.com with the laundry/dry cleaning costs being paid for directly using Clothing Care’s app.
*Please note, currently we only serve Ohio State’s MAIN Columbus, Ohio campus. If you are interested in delivery to a separate branch campus you must email us first (LaurenHelpsU@gmail.com) before placing your order. At this time we are unable to guarantee delivery’s to Ohio State’s branch campuses, thank you for your understanding!
