Buzzcard Benefits as you Buzz Around Atlanta - While some on campus family weekend events have limited registration - GT offers discounted tickets for students for some Atlanta area attractions like the Georgia Aquarium and the Zoo Atlanta. Whether one is going to the movie theater, using public transit - MARTA, dining out or getting tickets for a show at the Fox, there are often discounted tickets available to students who show their Buzzcard.

Shaky Knees Festival 2025 – Large, ticketed music festival with four different stages takes place on Friday, September 19th, 2025, through Sunday September 21st at Piedmont Park. Top acts include the Deftones, Blink 182, Sublime, Lenny Kravitz, Weird Al Yankovich.

Grab a “fast food” bite at the famous ‘Varsity’ – Opened in 1928; it was once the world’s largest drive in. Drive through service was discontinued but the Georgia Tech location remains iconic. It gets really busy on gameday. Known for its chili dogs, frosted orange and fried peach pies. Although it retains the drive through design, drive through service was discontinued.
